What is Orthodox Christianity

The patron of our parish is Saint John the Wonderworker, also known as Saint John of Shanghai and San Francisco.

The Answer will Surprise You!

Some things just don’t need to be changed.  The Orthodox Church has remained “unchanged” since AD 33.  It was the Councils of the early Church that codified the Bible, that wrote the Creeds, and that has preserved the teachings of Jesus Christ without change down to the modern day.

Telling the Truth since AD 33

Ancient Faith... Unchanged

The Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia was established in North America and other countries to bring people from all nations to the “fullness of the Christian Faith”.  Today, it has maintained it’s presence and vitality as one of the foremost Orthodox Church bodies in America.

What is ROCOR?

The Orthodox Church was established by Jesus Christ in AD 33.  It has remained unchanged down to the present day.  It is a timeless Faith that has survived in pure and unadulterated form.  It’s worship and Liturgy have a sense of profound sacredness .  A Christian of the 4th Century would be able to come into a modern Orthodox service and instantly recognize the form of the Liturgy.
